Description

Auro white satin lacquer decorates and protects interior wood such as furniture, doors, frames, moldings, or toys. The glossy lacquer can also be used for exterior applications. It can be diluted with water and covers approximately 137 sq.ft./litre per coat depending on the quality of the support and the application.

Application

When using the product, the complete product information must be observed.

 

USE

  • For decoration and protection (diffusion capacity) of wood, derivatives, and ferrous metals.
  • Indoors and outdoors, at least 2 coats with a minimum of 0.08 L/ m2, per coat.

 

TOOLS

Brush (synthetic or mixed bristle brushes, fine pore foam sleeves), roller (short nap lacquer rollers), spray.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

After interior or exterior surfaces have been prepared and primed, apply at least two coats of lacquer. Respect a total consumption of at least 0.24 L/ m2, for an optimal protection on smooth and regularly absorbing support.

Depending on the type of substrate and quality, it is recommended, when a coat is dry, to sand the substrate lightly with fine sandpaper (220 grain) or a sanding felt, without damaging the corners, and to remove dust before applying the next coat.

 

DRYING TIME IN NORMAL CLIMATE CONDITIONS (23°C / 60% relative humidity)

  • Touch dry in approximately 10 hours, dry and coatable in approximately 24 hours, completely dry in approximately 5 days.

 

CLEANING AND CARE OF SURFACES

Clean surfaces with lukewarm water only. Do not use bases (such as alkaline or ammonia-based solutions), or highly abrasive cleaning agents.
