Description

The Tockay Limewash Brush is a traditional tool designed for applying lime paints, limewash and certain mineral finishes. Its long natural bristles hold a generous amount of material and distribute it smoothly and evenly across the wall.

Its oval shape makes it easy to create crisscross strokes and free-flowing movements, essential for achieving the distinctive colour variations of lime paints. Depending on the pressure, direction and rhythm of the brush strokes, it can produce brushed, cloudy or delicately textured effects. An essential tool for bringing out the vibrant, handcrafted character of Tockay finishes.
